BBIB-->HRMS is a utility to convert the Second Site BBS file directories found on AMUGs "BBS in a Box" into a form suitable for use with the Hermes BBS. If you've used it before please see the 'Changes in version 4.1.1' file.
Setting it up.

Before you use BBIB-->HRMS, there are several options you may wish to set. The first is the uploader name that should be used when uploading all the files. You should enter the name you used to register BBIB-->HRMS in the dialog brought up by chosing "Register" under the options menu. This will allow you acess the other options described below. The second set of options involves customizing the names BBIB-->HRMS uses in creating the directories:
If checked, directory prefix will be added to the beginning of each Hermes' directory file. (ie. if prefix is '[CD] ' then the 'Bus' directory would be saved as '[CD] Bus'.
If checked, directory suffix will be added to the end of each Hermes' directory file. (ie. if suffix is ' ROM]' then the 'Bus' directory would be saved as 'Bus [ROM]'.
If both the prefix and suffix are left unchecked the suffix ' [ROM]' will be used.
In addition to adding these prefixes and suffixes, BBIB-->HRMS will do the following to the names of the .db files before using them. First, it will remove '.db' from the end of the name. Second, it will remove a leading space (' ') from the beginning of the name.
The converter processes the ".db" files and creates both files Hermes needs to display the file descriptions. Read the documentation to set this up and be sure and send in your shareware fees!
